Who you are:

As a Simbase Country Account Manager, you will generate, manage and measure the sales funnel by building relationships, adding value and growing with Simbase.

We are looking for a Country Account Manager for the German market to join our passionate team.

You will drive profit growth by attracting business. Sales is a key factor in driving our ambitious plans. You are a revenue-centric individual creating and navigating inbound and outbound sales. We pride ourselves on our team collaboration to close deals. 

You will be responsible for an entire targeted market. Ideally, you are based in Amsterdam for the German market. You are hungry, team-orientated, and have a go-getter mentality.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for startups and small/medium businesses

  • You need to generate your own leads through cold calling, blitzing, research, networking, and driving your territory

  • Make every potential customer happy with every interaction, regardless of deal size

  • Identify and understand customer’s pain points to propose Simbase solutions

  • Make sure that internal teams are set up for customer’s success by coordinating with other Simbase teams

What you’ll bring:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a sales-focused customer/client-facing role, with a track record of top performance, preferably within the B2B IoT industry

  • Experience in sales to Startup and SME business customers

  • Ability to understand the Simbase API and build great relationships with highly technical customers

  • Strong interest in technology with strong analytical and quantitative capabilities

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

  • Fluency in German and English
