Simbase Modern Slavery statement

Last updatet: January 5, 2024

Introduction

Simbase is committed to ensuring that all aspects of our business and supply chain are free from modern slavery and human trafficking. We understand the importance of maintaining ethical practices and adhering to the principles of human rights. Our modern slavery statement reflects our promise to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Our Business and Supply Chain

Simbase is a leading provider of IoT connectivity solutions, enabling devices and systems to communicate effectively across various industries. We are dedicated to innovative and responsible operations, understanding that our success is not merely measured in profits, but in the trust and respect we earn.

Simbase Global Group and its consolidated subsidiaries share the same core business operations and supply chains as well as modern slavery policies, processes, and risks further described in this statement.

Simbase believes that the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chain is limited. Simbase is not primarily a manufacturer of tangible products; rather, we provide IoT connectivity solutions globally through direct sales and our partners, although we do ship physical products, namely SIM cards, as part of our comprehensive service offerings.

Assessing and Managing risk

At Simbase, we understand that no business is entirely immune to the risks of modern slavery, and we acknowledge that even low-risk environments require vigilance. Consequently, we proactively embed safeguards into our vendor contracts, mandating compliance with all pertinent local laws and regulations.

Code of Conduct and Ethics

Simbase is steadfast in its commitment to upholding and advocating for human rights. We diligently adhere to all relevant laws and regulations that govern our operations. This dedication is encapsulated in our Code of Conduct and Ethics (the "Code"), which serves as a comprehensive guide for our employees, contractors, officers, and board members, outlining the expectations, policies, laws, rules, and regulations that they are obliged to follow.

The Code emphasizes the responsibility of everyone working at or with Simbase to report any potential violations, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of integrity in all our business dealings. Should any allegations of modern slavery arise, they are rigorously investigated. We hold a zero-tolerance stance on retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports concerns about modern slavery.
